Nowadays blogs are an extraordinary way to express to
anybody who has something to say. In the same way, is it a clear, easy and
organized from to find new and original information not only in real time but
also free and extremely accessible to anybody with a computer and internet
connection. As the author says, Weblogs are truly a constructivist tool for
learning, I agree because blogs are a strong tool to expand ideas, stimulate or
create great thoughts.
One of the most interesting things about Web blog is the
potential audience, basically anyone in the world interested in the topic would
be able to find your public post information. I think this is the way many of
the current issues that not necessary will appear in the news are now know by
everybody such as KONY2012 and many others.
In the educational area, weblog provide students the
opportunity to learn in a diverse way including videos, experiments and
opinions equally from everybody part of the blog. As the author mentions, Weblog
is a democratic tool that supports different learning styles. Just like there
are different kind of students, weblog offers different kinds of information
and ways to present. As an example a student that may be shy to speak in
public, writing and posting in a blog may be a great opportunity to get to that
child’s ideas. The possibilities with blogs are endless; I agree that we write
not just to communicate but to connect with others who can potentially teach us
more. For me, the most amazing thing about blog is the connection or the
relationship that weblogs create between writes and readers. Time ago, writes
and readers just never had the opportunity to share their feedback or maybe clarify
things but now with weblogs the relationship between readers and writes is just
parallel.
Weblogs an excellent way to express ourselves as you mention. this resource give teachers and student the opportunity to share information worldwide and to exchange knowledge in different content areas of education.
